The Sixty-first Session of the Governing Council of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has successfully concluded. IARC thanks all members of the Governing Council for their valuable recommendations to shape the Agency’s activities and research agenda.
The IARC Governing Council meets every year in ordinary session, usually during the week before the World Health Assembly of the World Health Organization.
During the Sixty-first Session of the Governing Council, IARC welcomed Hungary as a new Participating State. The Governing Council also approved IARC’s Programme and Budget for the biennium 2020–2021.
