IARC Director Dr Elisabete Weiderpass attended the international conference on “HPV-Associated Cancers: Primary Prevention and Screening” held on 17–18 June 2019 in Moscow, Russian Federation. Dr Weiderpass served as a chair of the conference and presented a lecture titled “History and perspective for the future”.
